That's right. In the manual sent out to all Argentine players, there is a full chapter dedicated to what Russian girls typically look for in men.

Argentina's Football Association (AFA) apologised on Wednesday for issuing a World Cup handbook featuring a section on how to flirt with Russian women, admitting to an "unintentional error" following the outcry. It was there, he said, that they handed out the manual.

Forget the soccer, this is the real storyline for this year's World Cup.

Another reads: "Russian girls do not like to be seen as objects. The first impression is very important for them, pay attention to your image".

High up in the document, the manual urges men to treat women as "something of worth".

"Because Russian women are lovely, many men just want to sleep with them", the guide offers.

Other instructions include assumptions about Russian attitudes to sex and a general ignorance about geography. Do not ask stupid questions about sex. If you are not confident, then you need to talk to different girls, so as not to be shy upon meeting a Russian girl. Another read: "Normally, Russian women pay attention to important things, but of course, you will find women who pay attention to material things - on money, if you are attractive, what you tell them".

Eagle-eyed social media users have also accused those who compiled the guide of ripping off the pick-up tips from a blog that is already online.

Their word on the matter: "The teacher in charge of the course selected information to give to those in attendance but unfortunately, when printing it, due to an involuntary error, he included the text that was never a part of the course".

Clarin tweeted a photograph of the controversial pages while Pennisi told Clarin that the AFA approved the manual, which he authored, and that the section was not written with bad intentions.

"I didn't come from my house with the documents", he said, adding that he downloaded the document from the internet because he thought it was "interesting".

The chapter in the manual was titled: "What do I have to do to get lucky with a Russian girl?" "The advice is very innocent, absolutely innocent". AFA officials reportedly removed those pages and redistributed the manuals.

ARGENTINA'S soccer bosses have precipitated an outcry after publishing outrageous World Cup recommendations on the way to "get fortunate with a Russian lady".
