Ant McPartlin tipped for I'm A Celebrity return following drink-driving arrest

The news comes after Ant and his telly partner Declan Donnelly were spotted out in public together for the first time in months.

Blogger Davina Darr bumped into the presenting duo in a hotel garden this week, and posted a picture to Instagram showing them posing alongside her. "I think he'll be back for 'I'm A Celebrity...'".

Ant stepped down from TV commitments earlier this year, leaving Dec to go solo on Saturday Night Takeaway.

Although Ant is currently appearing in the pre-recorded auditions, ITV said only Dec would appear in the live shows "while Ant steps down from his TV commitments for now".

It's been confirmed Ant will not join Dec in co-hosting the live Britain's Got Talent episodes later this month.

British TV presenter Ant Mcpartlin has reportedly moved into a lavish £4.5 million mansion following his split from his wife, as he continues rehab treatment in the wake of his drink driving conviction.

Looking a far cry from his contrite self as he stood outside court issuing a mea culpa on April 16, having been fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months, Ant is tanned and relaxed in the shot. While there, Dec picked up the Entertainment Programme award for Britain's Got Talent along with the crew and fellow judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

Saturday Night Takeaway had also been nominated in the category, alongside The Voice and Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

Meanwhile, separate reports this week indicate that McPartlin's recovery is going well - so well, apparently, that he might be ready to re-join his colleague and best friend Declan Donnelly on 'I'm A Celebrity...' when it returns later this year. Get Me Out Of Here!, which usually starts on ITV around November.
