On Wednesday, Irrfan Khan, who is now undergoing the treatment for neuroendocrine tumour, made a brief appearance on Twitter.

Irrfan wrote: Beginnings have the innocence that experience can't buy. While the project will serve as the Bollywood debut for both of Irrfan's co-stars, Dulqer is already a well-established name in south cinema.

Replying to his tweet nearly within an hour, an elated Dulquer tweeted, "Thank you so much sir!" Couldn't have asked for a better beginning than with you! Social media stormed with messages from fans sending out prayers for the actor. His tweet was about his upcoming film, Karwaan - starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Parkar. From his millions of fans to B'Town celebs, everyone has been praying for Irrfan's speedy recovery.

While there is still no update on Khan's health, for the first time since 16 March, the actor has posted a tweet.

Karwaan is set to release on August 10. The actor is known for his hit films like OK Kanmani and Charlie.

The original tagline on the poster which states "3 Lost Souls.2 Dead Bodies.A Journey of a Lifetime" has been politically tweaked which says "3 Lost Souls.voters are Dead Bodies.A Journey of 5 years". Mithila gained attention for her web series, Girl In The City and Little Things. It revolves around the lives of three people who meet under unusual circumstances and embark on a journey. He will star along side Irrfan Khan in the film but his director director Akarsh Khurana feels that the actor has got the basic requirement needed to make a successful Hindi film debut in place.
