Nokia X6 announced: Price, specifications, features and more

Nokia X6 is expected to be launched by HMD Global today in China. The Nokia X6 features a metal frame with front and back glass design. The Nokia X6 also supports HDR mode, filters and the ability to directly broadcast on microblogging sites via the camera.

HMD Global has just taken the wraps off the much-awaited Nokia X6 smartphone.

Price-wise, the Nokia X6 with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is listed at CNY 1299 (about RM 809) while the variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage goes for CNY 1699 (about RM 1058). As mentioned above, the screen also comes with a display notch, and overall, you get full 18:9 screen real estate to use. The phone is said to run on an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, speculated to either be the Snapdragon 636 or MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM. The base variant has 4GB RAM and 32GB storage space while the mid variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space.

In the photography department, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup, which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor of aperture f/2.0, supplemented by a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor of aperture f/2.2.

There is a hybrid SIM slot supporting two nano SIM cards or a nano SIM card and a microSD card. The AI can also detect the scene and add sticker accordingly.

The smartphone has a dual-camera module at its rear. Up front, is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Other aspects include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C, FM Radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. Apart from a fingerprint sensor, the phone also supports face recognition. Being called as the Nokia 3.1 the smartphone will run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

This new Nokia smartphone employs a 3060mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.
