N Koreans visit Beijing to learn about China's reforms: ministry

Senior North Korean officials are visiting China amid warming relations between the 2 countries.

According to sources, the delegation included Kim Su-gil, head of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party; Kim Nung-o, head of the party's North Pyongan Central Committee; and Ryu Myong-son, director of global affairs at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party.

"The likelihood is that Trump's withdrawal from the Iran deal didn't fundamentally alter Kim Jong-Un's thinking about USA posture", Russel said.

"Kim sounded Xi out about the possibility that North Korea could receive economic support from China during the denuclearization process", the Japanese daily wrote.

The broadcaster said later the group had arrived at the Diaoyutai government guest house although the identity of the visitors was not immediately known.

On Tuesday morning, they toured an agricultural research facility where officials there explained about the exhibits. Kim made his second trip to China in less than two months to meet with President Xi Jinping a week ago.

Kim used the phrase when he declared that his regime had completed the development of its nuclear arsenal and no more atomic or missile tests were needed.
