Barcelona star Lionel Messi says it would be "terrible" to see his friend and former teammate Neymar signing for Real Madrid.

Salah's goal tally has matched the two superstars this season, but the Egyptian has admitted it is too early for him to be compared to Messi and Ronaldo.

Mohamed Salah broke the record for most amount of goals in one 38 game Premier league season against Brighton yesterday by bagging his 32 league goal of the campaign.

However, the 25-year-old was quick to play down the comparisons and insisted that he would have to maintain his current form over the course of a very long period to deserve such comparisons.

"I don't want to say I am happy with these kind of comparisons".

"Mohamed salah has performed creditably well in the year under review but I dont think he has reached the level of [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo", Asamoah told Atinka FM.

"I hope I can do that". Definitely, they are great players'.

The star attacker has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid in recent times although he was quick to dismiss such rumours, insistent that he is happy at Anfield.

In an interview with TyCSports, he said: "I do not compete with Ronaldo". I'm thinking to end the season in the flawless way'. Messi added. Though Barcelona won La Liga and the Copa del Rey this season, Real Madrid will go for their third straight Champions League trophy when they face Liverpool in the final on May 26 in Kiev.
