Laurel or Yanny? This audio clip is driving the internet insane

And, in the words of Houston Texan JJ Watt, "Yanny vs. Laurel is starting some real fights", as social media users continue to debate which name they heard. Cloe Feldman, a social media influencer, posted the audio clip on her Instagram story and Twitter, and now the internet is exploding.

"HOW DOES ANYONE HEAR LAUREL ITS YANNY", Twitter user zaynilla added.

There's an audio clip going around the internet that is causing people to hear "Yanny" or "Laurel".

I have no idea how anyone else can hear anything but "Laurel" - even when I heard a change in the bass level provided by another tweet.

A YouTube video also plays with pitches to try to understand how people are hearing different things.
