I get to do action this time: Deadpool 2 actor Karan Soni

Can you imagine a sequel where Lively suits up in matching garb? Reynolds carries the movie on his back-although this time around he should have shared the load a little more evenly with some of his talented co-stars. It was a blast.

If you dig superheroes in comics and/or animation, then you may have come to take the idea of team-ups in those forms of media for granted over the years. (Deadpool shrugs at this premise's staleness by offering a Terminator joke.) Our hero, of course, can't abide the death of a teenager, so he strikes a deal with Cable: If 'Pool can prevent the kid from taking his first life, Cable will back off. For the second, I have worked for three months. Most people have enjoyed the film, while some didn't really care for it.

The first Deadpool wasn't all that good an action movie, but it was an excellent comedy - what it lacked in plot and action, it more than made up for with slapstick gore and goofy meta-humour.

How far has their (Deadpool and Dopinder's) friendship progressed?

A time-traveling soldier named Cable (Josh Brolin, who was just the villain in Avengers: Infinity Wars) is trying to kill him in order to save the future. So I have to sort of prove to him that I'm ready.

Does he get to go after his girl this time?

The cast is fantastic, with Ryan Reynolds and Zazie Beetz being the better of the lot.

He is very amusing and sarcastic.

Once again, Reynolds is terrific as the self-styled "Merc with the mouth", and the role provides a near-perfect match of actor and character, fully exploiting his wise-cracking skills, his bone-dry delivery and his self-awareness. I'm not going to sit here and recount the jokes, because there's nothing un-funnier than some dumb bastard quoting someone else's jokes.

'I don't think that you can keep doing that. Well, believe them! The movie also doesn't shy away from the gore, justifying the R-rating to fullest. The jolt is not that it happens but that a movie that carries itself like the smartest, most cutting critic of pop-culture cliche asks us to invest in the oldest and cheapest. So, once we understood the script well, they gave us the freedom to do whatever we wanted.

But Dion may have some competition if and when Deadpool 3 arrives because Reynolds may have a budding singer at home.

In the opening moments of "Deadpool 2", Air Supply's "All Out of Love" plays in the background. Deadpool 2 begins with a huge dig on Logan with a bit of foreshadowing and later followed by a truly amusing credits sequence.

Leitch, in contrast, comes from the world of stunt coordination. He brought his entire stunt team for this film - the same team that worked on Atomic Blonde and the John Wick films - and whatever they have done here is much more exciting. The character's voice is credited "as himself", and unless Cain Marko has actually got himself an Equity Card we're betting there's another person responsible for recording his lines. "I'm excited about a couple new characters that we're talking about". I mean, I would love to do a spin-off. As of now, I'm hoping I'll get to do a third film. "I can lay it on pretty thick".

Deadpool fans can decide how they feel about the hotly anticipated sequel when it opens wide on May 18. "Those jokes about sequels lined up into the next decade aren't really jokes, are they?" "There's always a chance, I suppose, but we felt that was the best goodbye for Hugh as Wolverine".

"That was the one for me".
