Just not to the school he grew up down the road from.

Sacha Killeya-Jones announced last month that he meant to transfer from Kentucky, and now that transfer destination is known.

Killeya-Jones, who is a North Carolina native, was looking at a few ACC programs closer to his home town of Chapel Hill, where the North Carolina Tar Heels play.

Jones, a former 5-star recruit from Chapel Hill, played two seasons at United Kingdom; he will redshirt next year, and have two years of eligibility remaining after the 2018-19 season. He will have two years of eligibility left when he suits up for the Wolfpack in the 2019-20 season.

Killeya-Jones averaged 13.7 minutes in 34 of Kentucky's 37 games in 2017-18, getting 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.

Killeya-Jones announced he was leaving Kentucky last month, but announced his decision to go to Raleigh on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. According to 247Sports' composite rankings, he was the No. 7 power forward and No. 23 player overall in the 2016 recruiting class. That trio will be joined by four incoming freshmen, highlighted by 4-star center Immanuel Bates and 4-star small forward Saddiq Bey.
