"Ajax Cape Town are consulting with their legal team regarding William Mokhari SC's arbitration ruling released this morning‚" the club said yesterday.

Ndoro has represented three clubs this season, including Orlando Pirates, Saudi Arabian side Al Faisaly and Ajax Cape Town, which is against football governing body FIFA's rules.

After a ruling by the South African Football Association (Safa), the club will automatically lose three matches 3-0 and have received a R50,000 fine for each offence.

Those matches were against Platinum Stars (January 12)‚ Polokwane City (February 4) and SuperSport United (February 28).

Ajax Cape Town have been relegated from South Africa's Premier League after being found guilty of fielding an ineligible player, Tendai Ndoro, on three occasions.

"The club is in the process of preparing papers to be filed urgently before the High Court in Johannesburg for the matter to be heard tomorrow morning at 10:00". The PSL charged Ajax with using a player who had already played for two different clubs previously in a single season. As a result, Ajax were docked nine points, effectively relegating Muhsin Ertugral's men to the second tier.

Ajax are also fined R50,000 for five matches that they have fielded Ndoro in.

"Among other issues‚ the club will seek to interdict the promotion playoffs from commencing [today] at 3pm".

Ndoro was sentenced to a two-match suspension for his misconduct.

But the PSL's own disciplinary structures did not find Ajax guilty and an appeal against the decision delivered an inconclusive verdict. Ajax stated on their official Twitter account, "Ajax Cape Town are now consulting with their legal team regarding William Mokhari SC's arbitration ruling released this morning".

Platinum Stars now have 27 points and will be taking part in the PSL/National First Division promotion-relegation play-offs.

Platinum Stars are on their way to Limpopo to take Ajax's place in the promotion/relegation playoff clash against Leopards at the Thohoyandou Stadium.
