With the re-release of Nintendo's miniature, $60 NES Classic Edition this June, you can relive the classic games of your childhood in an adorable little package.

Were Nintendo to follow the pattern established by the 2016 NES Classic and 2017 SNES Classic, one might expect 2018 to bring an N64 Classic.

With the popularity of these two systems, there are many speculations that Nintendo may release other systems like the Nintendo 64.

The NES Classic was originally discontinued in April 2017, forcing folks to hit the interwebs in search of a new or used device for much more than the original price. However, copious amounts of fan outcry did the trick. Will you try and get one or both? Instead of allowing owners of the hybrid console to purchase and play classic games, Nintendo wants customers to purchase the retro consoles instead, which is why the company is making the NES Classic Edition available again alongside the SNES Classic Edition. Also, you can choose from several display modes, ranging from Pixel Perfect to CRT filter and a 4:3 ratio.

The NES Classic Edition comes with 30 classic games, including Super Mario Bros., Metroid, Pac-Man and more, and will retail for $79.99 CAD. What's interesting here is that, now that Nintendo has announced the Virtual Console will not be coming to the Switch, subscribers to their online service will gain access to a bunch of games that are also on this hardware including Balloon Fight, Dr. Mario and Donkey Kong.
