Oakland Rattled by 3.5 Magnitude Earthquake

The same area saw four earthquakes, including a 4.1 magnitude, on Monday in addition to a 4.0 magnitude quake on Sunday.

The jolt was felt widely throughout the Bay Area.

The temblor was recorded at 7:18 p.m.at a distance of about 1.8 miles east-northeast of Oakland.

USGS, reported the natural disaster was along the Hayward fault line.

NBC Sports cameras captured the shaking as it interrupted a baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and Cincinnati Reds.

Officials from the San Francisco BART train service said that it temporarily held trains during the "seismic event" to inspect tracks. Transit was expected to resume after about 10 minutes.

A small quake has rattled the San Francisco Bay Area but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
