Returning to Chicago's Union Park for another year of live music to end your summer on a high note, the North Coast Music Festival has released its 2018 lineup this morning. The British band played their first USA show since 2005 last month at Coachella, where they appeared on Friday's bill a few notches below headliner the Weeknd.

British funk act Jamiroquai has been tapped to headline in one of the group's only US dates. This year North Coast will also debut all-new daily showcases curated by industry collectives, showing off the best sounds in hip-hop, house, and beyond with DJ sets from The Cool Kids, Lyrical Lemonade and Midnight Conspiracy. This year the lineup includes several acts associated with Soundcloud rap, a scene that's either "cutting edge" or "a terrible trash fire" depending on your point of view: they include Lil Xan, Lil Skies, Lil Gnar, and breakout Chicagoland MC Juice Wrld.

Tickets for this year's North Coast Music Festival are on sale here. Aux Cord DJs leads the charge on August 31, witha DJ set from The Cool Kids and Joe Freshgoods and a live set by Irish Temple. The full lineup is below-in alphabetical order, though, not broken down by day. I've linked names to Reader coverage where relevant.

Other performers on the bill include Vulfpeck, Snails, RL Grime, Gramatik, DVSN, Smokepurpp, Mura Masa, Lil Xan, Cashmere Cat, Moon Taxi, Juice Wrld, The Strumbellas, Lil Skies, Robert Delong, Jacob Banks, Barclay Crenshaw, Rapsody, The Revivalists and Yellow Claw.
