Patrick Beverley has made a nice National Basketball Association living as a pesky defender, often among the league leaders in steals. He only appeared in 11 games before having microfracture surgery in November and missing the rest of the season.

Former Houston Rockets player Patrick Beverley has proven that he has skills on the court and, on Wednesday, his mother proved that she has skills when it comes to game shows. During the "Let 'Em Roll" game to see who would move on to the "Showcase Showdown", Beverley's competitor Fernando spun a almost impossible-to-beat $0.95. She also created maybe one of the great reactions in the history of the Price Is Right when the guy she beat fell face first onto the floor in disbelief. A miraculous $1.00 spin earned her a spot in the "Showcase Showdown" - judging by her fellow contestant's reaction, she almost killed him - where she won the day's biggest prize.

Her success didn't just end there.

Seeing Beverley's winning spin, Fernando promptly collapse flat on the ground in a moment destined to become a viral gif. Her winnings turned out to be a total value of about $41,000.
