Apart from her Mother's Day plans, she's also coming back to host the second season of World of Dance when it premieres May 30 on NBC, and she said the upcoming season is going to be even better.

It's not so surprising, then, that Dewan was completely gracious on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday (May 2) after DeGeneres accidentally called her "Jenna Dewan Tatum".

Dewan graciously accepted her friend's apology, and appeared to get a little choked up as she responded.

'I have to say, before we go to break, I'm so sorry, ' said Ellen to the professional World Of Dance star. "Honestly, thank you and everybody for the love and support".

The 37-year-old actress announced she was ending her nine-year marriage to Channing - with whom she has four-year-old daughter Everly - last month, but has said that she's doing okay in the wake of their separation. "I introduced you and it was just such a habit, and I have to say the way that you and Channing are handling everything is attractive for your daughter and the statements have been great".

"I mean, it's truly so moving".

"I always want Mother's Day to be like family". He's still kind of miffed that I didn't just take Tatum. I want the balance.

The singer, who also spoke about being named one of the TIME 100: Most Influential People of 2018, explained, "He asked me, he goes "Let's go out to dinner" and I go 'OK, ' right?"

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple". It feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it's a outcome of the lives we've chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for. Jenna then took the opportunity to publicly address the split: "Thank you".

'Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a attractive journey that is taking us on different paths for now'.
