Before Xiaomi could officially announce Mi 6X, Google's Android team has jumped the gun by revealing the key specifications of the device. But, as we near the Mi 6X/ Mi A2 launch, a couple more leaks have emerged to tickle the reader's fantasy further.

In a listing on Android.com, it has been confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 6X might arrive with a 6-inch display, which is likely to be a FHD+ panel with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Available on the company's official website, this video shows the Flame Red variant of the Mi 6X as the actor takes pictures of what seems like Los Angeles in the backdrop.

The Mi 6X will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI skinned on top. It is visually similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but with slight differences in the antenna bands.

The protective plastic layer that sits on the screen of the Xiaomi Mi 6X confirms that the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with AIE. The 3GB variant of the device has 32GB of internal storage, while 4GB model has and 64GB of storage option.

Xiaomi Mi 6X is also said to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU and feature a vertically-aligned dual camera module at the back with 12MP + 5MP sensors and a 20MP snapper on the front.

Note 5 has a 12-megapixel primary lens with 1.25-micron pixel and f/2.2 aperture, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and Beautify 3.0. It will come packed with a 2,910mAh battery, which is enough to keep the phone running for a whole day under mixed usage. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
