Greater instability across southeast Oklahoma will allow for increased coverage of thunderstorms this afternoon with a few stronger storms possible, however, overall severe threat remains low. If we are to see a strong storm, main threats would be wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour and possibly an isolated brief tornado. By morning, we'll expect some showers and storms across the area. "However, the threat for severe weather is relatively low, so more than likely we will see typical thunderstorms that remain below severe limits".

We started the day today warm and humid with temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

As the front swings through the area by late morning into the early afternoon hours, a spotty strong to severe storm is not out of the question.

Highs this afternoon are expected to top out in the low to mid 70s.

Monday the cold front and low pressure system moves closer and keeps the clouds around with a good chance for mainly showers at anytime during the day with a small chance for a few isolated thunderstorms.

Breezy to windy conditions will continue through tonight especially along the coast.

The rain chance comes at one of the most dry points in the year for Florida.

Our sky stays mostly cloudy with highs at seasonable levels.
