On Saturday around 3 p.m. a fisherman spotted a body in the river near Orangeville, Ont. and called the Ontario Provincial Police.

A body has been found near the village of Belwood, 10 kilometres from where a 3-year old went missing back on February 21.

Multiple police units and a forensic squad removed the body from the river, and its now being transported to a coroner's office to be identified.

Kaden was swept from his mother's arms when her vehicle entered the river near Orangeville, Ont., during a flood on February 21.

Thousands of people joined a Facebook group dedicated to helping find Kaden's body, and hundreds turned out nearly daily to participate in organized searches along the river.

Investigators say they'll release information about the deceased's identity as soon as the coroner's office completes its examination.

But in a Facebook post Sunday morning, Kaden's mother Michelle Hanson writes that two months of searching for her son "has finally come to an end".
