Strictly Come Dancing bosses want to sign a Spice Girl

It's been reported that show producers are desperate to get one of the girls on board, having previously nabbed Emma Bunton for the 2006 series where she came in third place.

Sharing a video clip and creating an Instagram story, the former Spice Girl did not do a sponge cake with icing and all the trimmings.

But which member of the group could take to the dance floor? Emma Bunton took part in the show in 2006, while Mel B competed in the US version Dancing with the Stars in 2007, but bosses are apparently keen to sign up either her, Mel C or Geri Horner for the upcoming series.

After trying her hand at the American version, Dancing with the Stars, the bookies can reveal wagers are being placed on the Spice Girl taking part this year, which is now rated as just a 5/1 shot - with her odds slashed from 20/1 days ago. "With her shocking tell-all book due out at the end of 2018, it would be a huge coup for BBC bosses to have her as one of their contestants at the time". "They ask me every year to do it".

Of course Mrs Beckham has a strict diet, she eats salmon every day and you'll find her in the gym for two hours every morning.

Meanwhile, Geri has previously said she's a big fan of the show, but wouldn't want to take part herself. "It would take me longer than it took everybody else and it was hard work".

Let's hope that one of the ladies can be persuaded to get their sequins on! Other celebrities in the pipeline for this year's Strictly are rumoured to include Coleen Rooney, Anneka Rice and Maya Jama.
