Rusev Back In Casket Match Against Undertaker at Greatest Royal Rumble

WWE is going back to their original plan. However, the match was scrapped a day later and Rusev was replaced with Chris Jericho.

Rusev had a match scheduled against The Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble until Lana apparently said she didn't want her husband in a Casket Match against the Dead Man in Saudi Arabia. We'll pass along an update if WWE makes an official announcement.

WWE obliged to her request, and announced on Monday afternoon that the match was back on.

"After @LanaWWE's endorsement, the #CasketMatch is BACK ON between @RusevBUL and The #Undertaker at @WWE Greatest Royal Rumble!"

After all, the Casket Match undoubtedly belongs to The Undertaker, as The Deadman has claimed victory in several of these harrowing contests, wherein a Superstar only wins when he gets his opponent into the casket and closes the lid.

This strangely happened after TMZ caught up with Lana and Rusev where Rusev alluded to the fact that The Undertaker is old and past his prime. This is very unusual considering the fact I just spoke to Chris Jericho and he talked about his upcoming match and how excited he was about it. As of this writing, the official WWE.com preview lists The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho.
