The Airtel plan offers unlimited voice calls without any daily or weekly FUP associated with it.

As part of the plan, Idea Cellular prepaid customers will be eligible for 2GB of 3G/4G data per day for a period of 28 days. So, the plan is offering a total of 56GB of data for 28 days. Under this offer, Airtel customers will get unlimited voice calls on local and STD network along with free national roaming calls.

Airtel's RMS is just over 31 per cent compared to Idea and Vodafone's 37.5 per cent and for Vodafone and Idea combines, and Reliance Jio' 14.5 per cent, according to the latest data by the regulator. This translates to 56GB of total data for the duration.

The company's MD Gopal Vittal and chief operating officer Ajai Puri have been travelling extensively to meet Airtel circle heads and field teams across states asking them to prepare competitive tariff plans for luring Idea and Vodafone customers and focus on achieving RMS. The pack is available to select users at the present time and is likely to be rolled out on a broader scale soon.

Bharti Airtel is planning to pump in Rs 24,000 crore as capex in FY19, offer aggressive tariff plans to customers and incentives to its distributors in a bid to target a major chunk of the subscribers of Vodafone and Idea Cellular who may be up for grabs as the two telcos close their merger and integrate operations, people aware of the matter said. There's also a benefit of free national roaming calls.

In terms of the data benefit, Airtel is offering 2GB of 3G/4G data along with 100 SMS per day. This plan is likely to get canceled once the Rs 249 plan is rolled out on a wider scale in all the circles. The Reliance Jio and Airtel plan on the other hand does not come with FUP and the users can enjoy unlimited voice calling facility without any bounds.
