The Columbus Blue Jackets are set to face off against the Washington Capitals in the nation's capital for the second game of a seven game series on Sunday night.

After the Capitals retook a two-goal advantage, the Blue Jackets scored three straight goals and took a 4-3 lead over the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The biggest penalty of the game, both in time and effect on the outcome is undoubtedly Josh Anderson's major and game misconduct.

But while they beat Sergei Bobrovsky four times on the night, they needed a fifth, and Bobrovsk'y 54 saves - a career-high- helped propel Columbus to another road victory, a 5-4 overtime win to see the Blue Jackets go up 2-0 in the series. It's likely that Washington will once again start Philipp Grubauer, and on paper; Bobrovsky is certainly the better goaltender.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sergei Bobrovsky made 54 saves, Matt Calvert scored the victor 12:22 into overtime and the Columbus Blue Jackets overcame two goals from Alex Ovechkin to beat the Washington Capitals 5-4 on Sunday night and take a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series. If they falter in even one of these categories, then it becomes much more hard.

The period concluded with just one linesman on the ice. The goal was scored while a Blue Jackets player appeared to be off-sides, which would have negated the goal and continued the game. Matt Calvert scored the victor in OT with Werenski, Seth Jones and Artemi Panarin all adding two helpers to make Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky and his 54 saves a victor.

Two of the so-called fiercest rivals in the National Hockey League have provided three lopsided games: Pittsburghs 7-0 win in Game 1 and Philadelphias 5-1 victory in Game 2 could about qualify as nail-bitters in this series.

The three stars were Alex Ovechkin (3rd star, 2 goals) Cam Atkinson (2nd star, 2 goals) and Matt Calvert (1st star, game winning goal in overtime).
