Motorola is working on its Moto G6 series for some time now and the smartphones have been spotted and reported several times on the internet now.

Motorola is expected to announce its first product lineup for the year on April 19 at an event in Sao Paulo. The latest one comes in the form of benchmark scores and it belongs to the high-end device among the three - the Moto G6 Plus. Based on the listing, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Previous reports have tipped that the Moto G6 Plus might make use of a Snapdragon 630 SoC but this listing suggests a different processor. In addition to the test scores, the benchmark listing also throws light on other specifications of the smartphone. It is also speculated that the smartphone will be available in a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version as well. Last week, renders of the phones revealed that the Moto G6 Play and G6 Plus will come in Indigo Blue and Rose Gold colours while the Moto G6 will be offered in Indigo Blue, Silver, Rose Gold and Black.

The Moto G6 Plus will arrive together with the entry-level Moto G6 and the fun-loving Moto G6 Play. The renders show that the bezels at the sides will be narrow but the top and bottom bezels appear to be prominent with enough space to house the fingerprint sensor at the front.

If the Geekbench listing is anything to be believed, the G6 Plus will perform better than what we expected from it and will surely match the likes of smartphones in the higher mid-range segment in terms of performance. The phone will also come with a circular dual rear camera setup with one 12-megapixel sensor and one 5-megapixel sensor.
