The rookie guard exploded for 27 points and 10 rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder and, though the end result was a loss for his team, the defeat certainly did not come as a result of struggles from Mitchell.

"Playoff P", Paul George's postseason alter ego, showed up for the OKC Thunder in their 116-108 Game 1 victory Sunday night against the Utah Jazz. This is George's first playoff game with the Thunder since being traded from the Indiana Pacers in the offseason.

"I feel fine", he said. His success made it hard for the Jazz to cover other players.

The good news? Mitchell's backed it up with his play on the court, leading the Jazz in scoring with 20.5 points per game and ranking third in assists per game with 3.7. We'll get to see him in the NBA Playoffs beginning this weekend.

Utah's Mitchell had to leave during the second half due to soreness in his left foot. "So we just kept sticking with it and, hopefully, he doesn't go 8 for 11 the rest of the series". "Think I just stubbed my toe". In addition, Rudy Gobert scored 14 points and seven rebounds, while Joe Ingles and Jae Crowder each added 13 for the Jazz.
