As Miranda Lambert was making history on Sunday night at the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, she took a minute to honor her fans.

Shelton performed by himself earlier in the night, by playing his most current single, "I Lived It", to the ACM crowd.

Reports of Lambert's split surfaced East last month, with People noting that he had ceased following her Instagram account. Numerous genre's younger acts sang along to every word, including Lauren Alaina, Preston Brust of LoCash and Trip Howell of Lanco, while Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line raised a glass from their seats.

Miranda has been accused of "throwing shade" at Blake during her speech. Word is Shelton and Lambert have made a point not to interact with one another amid rumors that they are becoming friends again.

As a part of the throwback series that the awards ceremony introduced this year, Shelton raised Keith up with an admirable foreword before they took on the '90s classic. These awards bring her total number of ACMs to 32, the most any artist has ever won. 'I want you to feel sad, mad, happy and nostalgic and really pissed sometimes.

"It's no secret that I like to have a good time, so I guess I'm a ideal match for this next artist", Shelton joked as he enthusiastically introduced Keith to sing his signature hit. She said she couldn't grasp why she or country singing sensation Carrie Underwood wasn't nominated for the category considering their major success.
