Kanye West recalled one of his favourite memories of Lamar Odom as he returned to Twitter on Sunday.

The decision to bring back his account comes after the "Stronger" rapper made a similar comeback to Instagram two months ago on Valentine's Day, February 14, when he shared snaps of various famous couples in a tribute to his own marriage with Kim Kardashian West.

The rapper and fashion designer, who left social media back in May 2017, chose to hop on Twitter on Sunday night to muse about several topics close to his heart - fashion, his friend Lamar Odom, and his son, Saint. "Then we walked into the arena together". He made his first public appearance alongside West at his February 2016 Yeezy Season fashion show release party in NY.

The rapper appeared to be referring to Odom's hospitalization after being discovered unconscious in a brothel in Nevada in October 2015. On one in particular, West said he showed the late Louise Wilson.

Odom, 38, spent three months under medical care and was released a month before West's event. Kardashian, 33, and Odom officially divorced in December 2016. "He would go to the hospital and he would rap and sing, and I think Lamar started to get his function back and started to talk once he started to listen to a lot of music".

Although sweet, the tweet may be surprising to some given the family dynamics surrounding Kanye's former brother-in-law's estranged relationship with Khloe Kardashian, who just gave birth to her first baby with NBA basketball player/serial cheater Tristan Thompson. "My favorite moment of walking into MSG to play Saint Pablo", West, 40, captioned the photo.

In the Twitter spree, Kanye also revealed that he was gearing up to add to his tattoo collection by getting his son Saint's name etched onto his neck. The rapper's first tweet following his hiatus was a screenshot of a long -sleeve shirt from his Saint Pablo tour, featuring an image of Caitlyn Jenner on the back.
