Green Wood Assistant Police Chief Matthew Fillenwarth maintains medics and police responded Sunday into some verbal and physical struggle between about 150 folks in the Gurdwara Sikh temple.

It was originally reported that people involved in the altercation had been stabbed. Fillenwarth says four people suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, where they will be questioned by police. Police believe the fight at the temple in Greenwood broke out following a disagreement with a change in power.

Some gurdwara members told the local media that the fight was between incoming and outgoing leaders.

"It was chaos", Sing told IndyStar.

The police are reviewing the surveillance video from the temple to know the exact sequence of events.

Multiple people have been injured after an incident broke out at a Sikh temple in Greenwood Sunday afternoon. No weapons were recovered at the scene and no arrests were made.
