Most excitingly, though, they announced the casting for Proxima Midnight: Carrie Coon, star of The Leftovers and Fargo Season 3, and someone who has proven herself to be television's best actress over the last few years thanks to her indelible performances on those shows (mostly Leftovers). But it's fan-wish fulfillment and, you know, if this Disney-Fox deal goes through there's going to be a lot more characters coming into the Marvel universe, so some of those insane fan theories might come true. Coon voices Proxima Midnight, a member of villain Thanos' Black Order, in the ensemble superhero movie, which opens worldwide from April 25. He's bringing his whole Black Order with him, a group of creepy aliens who may not match Thanos in raw power, but sure do in ruthlessness. Having reconfirmed that Irish actor Tom Vaughn-Lawlor was voicing fellow Black Order member Ebony Maw, the brothers were asked if they could reveal "any other interesting voices in the Black Order".

It's learned Carrie Coon is playing Proxima Midnight in The Avengers: Infinity War and Terry Notary will be playing Cull Obsidian. "He's one of the most gifted movement specialists in the world right now", Russo said. But he loves playing the character, I know that, and we love working together. "It's an all-star cast of baddies".

That leaves just one member of the Black Order unknown, with the actor behind Glaive still a question to be answered. Our money's on Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, who is an experienced voice actor and already confirmed to be playing an as-yet-unknown character in the new film.
