Indio, California was overwhelmed with iconic artists for weekend 1 of Coachella, but Marshall Mathers arrived to the scene with a objective.

Just one day after Beyoncé turned Coachella into Beychella, Eminem closed out the first weekend of the festival with a fiery and nostalgic performance in the desert. To close out Coachella, Eminem brought out Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Skylar Grey and many others. The pair then performed Dr. Dre songs "Still Dre", "Medicine Man", "Forgot About Dre", "Nothing But A G Thang" and "California Love".

Eminem discovered 50 Cent back in 2002 and mentored the rapper along with Dr. Dre as he became one of the biggest names in the music industry. The rapper brought out Bebe Rexha for "The Monster" which she wrote but was performed by Rihanna in the end.

Eminem, before his headlining set, opened up a pop-up restaurant in Coachella named Mom's Spaghetti after a famous lyric from his song "Lose Yourself". He also took fans back to the very start of his career, after having USA talk show host Jimmy Kimmel introduce a special pre-recorded video edition of his Mean Tweets segment, in which stars read out rude Twitter messages about themselves.

"Next was 50 Cent, who came to the stage rapping to their Get Rich or Die Tryin" collaboration "Patiently Waiting", before launching into his solo hits "I Get Money" and "In da Club".
