When the Los Angeles Lakers drafted Lonzo Ball with the second overall pick, much of the discussion surrounding the UCLA product was regarding off-the-court details.

Big Baller Brand now has one National Basketball Association player on its roster.

According to Yahoo's Shams Charania, Crawford is in talks with Big Baller Brand about an endorsement deal and has been wearing the company's sneakers since returning to the Pelicans.

Crawford is not a star power signing for the small sports merchandise brand.

Crawford will reportedly be receiving new Big Baller Brand gear at the start of the NBA Playoffs.

Although Crawford has yet to put ink on paper with regards to this looming endorsement deal, Charania noted that the former Xavier Musketeer guard is expected to see Big Baller Brand goods at his doorstep soon. Crawford became the first National Basketball Association player - besides Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball - to wear the brand this season and has continued to do so in the postseason.

Crawford and the brand are expected to continue talks toward a deal, sources said.

The company was started by LaVar Ball and named for sons, Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo. Crawford is in his sixth National Basketball Association season and has played with several National Basketball Association teams during that time period. He signed with the Pelicans for the remainder of the season on April 5.

The Pelicans took a 1-0 lead in their first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers with a 97-95 win Sunday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. E.T.
