I've been enjoying the success of Baahubali for seven years: Rana Daggubati

Helmed by SS Rajamouli, Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali: The Conclusion won three awards at the 65th National Film Awards this year. The two-part magnum opus won awards for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment Film, Best Action Choreography (King Solomon, Lee Whittakar, Kecha Khamphakdee) and Best Special Effects (R.C. Kamalakannan). From the shooting process to the box office success and now the national award. The handsome hunk Rana Daggubati played the role of Ballaladeva in the fantasy epic drama.

Shekhar Kapur, who headed the jury this year, said that he was stunned by the quality of films, especially those in regional cinema, that were nominated this for the National Film Awards in 2018.

"Ghazi is one of the films that I am really very proud of because there was a lot of resistance when I was trying to make the film". It is a submarine war film. There is no love story, song dance sequence that we have in regular Telugu films. We went ahead and did it.

Bollywood films were next to absent from the winners list at the 65th National Film Awards. Taking to Twitter, a proud Rana adds, "The most satisfying journeys and destinations I have had by being part of telling these fantastic stories".
