Rockstar Games unveiled the GTA Online: Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series today in a blog post.

Outlining the new Hotring circuit mode, Rockstar Games said: "There's nothing more American than strapping yourself inside of the highly combustible turbo-charged death machine that is the new Declasse Hotring Sabre and tearing around a multi-lap track designed for up to 30 adrenaline-addicted maniacs".

The Hotring Sabre that you see above is right at home on the circuit, and is only the first of five new cars. That vehicle is available for purchase now from Legendary Motorsport alongside two new Super-class cars-the Overflod Entity XXR and Cheval Taipan-as well as the Vulcar Fagaloa and Vapid GB200.

GTA V and GTA Online are available now PC and consoles. The mode is a homage to Vice City's Hotring, mashed together with GTA Online's Cunning Stunts.

The GTA Online universe has been blessed with the Hotring Circuit, a high-speed race course which will afford up to thirty players the opportunity to burn rubber in a bid to win a selection of cool prizes, which include exclusive vehicles and in-game cash.

Down the line, Rockstar plans to release a number of racing and Adversary Modes.

"Embrace the intoxicating smell of burnt rubber and premium-grade gasoline across 10 stock auto races made for the new Hotring Sabre, and get Double GTA$ & RP now through March 26th". This Super Sports Series is also an ongoing event, with more content being added on April 3, including a target assault mode in which players drive around and blow each other's cars to pieces.

On May 1, ten new Special Vehicle Races land (and fly) with the Doomsday Heist's Deluxo, Stromberg and Thruster in tow.

While from May 29 seven new Transform Races will be added to GTA Online.

Rockstar are also offering an in-game discount on garages and vehicle upgrades to get players prepared for the races.
