Little Caesars is offering free pizza after March Madness historic upset

For fans of the biggest upset in NCAA tournament history, victory tastes like pizza, or whatever it is Little Caesars calls pizza.

University of Maryland, Baltimore County became the first ever No. 16-seeded team to beat a No. 1-seeded opponent in the NCAA Tournament Friday.

"Because "CRAZY HAPPENED" with a #16 beating a #1 (!), everyone in America gets a free #LittleCaesars Lunch Combo on Monday, April 2nd." .

There are some details you'll want to know about though.

Knowing that a No. 16 seed had never defeated a No. 1, Little Caesars put free lunch combos on the line in the event of the unthinkable. The offer can not be redeemed online or through delivery, and orders must be placed before 1 p.m. the same day.

Limited to one (1) HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo per family (defined as parents, children, siblings, and spouse).

The giveaway will take place on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Despite the heartbreak of a broken bracket, Little Caesars hopes UVA fans can muster up an appetite for some humble pie.
