On Friday (March 16), while delivering her live set at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the former Disney star became inundated with emotion yet again when her tour mates, Kehlani and DJ Khaled, surprised her by leading the audience in a "Happy Birthday" sing-along to show their support of Lovato's sober birthday. She said 6 years ago she was drinking vodka out of a Sprite bottled at 9 in the morning and throwing up in a vehicle. "This is no longer fun, and I'm just like my dad'".

Demi added, "So I made changes in my life", she said.

'Mental health is something that we all need to talk about, and we need to take the stigma away from it. "Let's let everybody know it's okay to have a mental illness, it's okay to have an addiction problem". And you've forgiven me for my mistakes.

The next stop on the buzz worthy Tell Me You Love Me World Tour for Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled will be March 19, at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.

DJ Khaled played the role of preacher, life coach and best friend as he offered words of inspiration, motivation and admiration to Lovato, who has been open about her issues with drugs and alcohol.

Wowing the sold-out audience with the performance of a lifetime at New York City's Barclays Center, Lovato lit up the stage, along with record producer and radio personality DJ Khaled, at an epic showcase of vast talent on Friday, March 18. "What you've overcome through trials and tribulations, through dark clouds, you found the sunshine, and now the sun is shining on you forever", DJ Khaled said, adding that "every night you come light up the stage and you represent your fans, and that's so awesome".

She changed her path: She added, 'And I just remember thinking, "This is no longer cute".

"You inspire me", continued the "Wild Thoughts" hitmaker.

"Every time I see you I say, 'Man, this is a strong queen, '" said Khaled. And every night you come light up the stage and you represent your fans, and that's so awesome'. However, it's been six years, and Demi has been fighting it like a warrior. So grateful for another year of joy, health and happiness.
