Eighty-three-year-old Christ - who legally changed her name nearly 50 years ago - told Maine's WGME-TV that she was unaware Winfrey was eyeing a holy signal when she penned the letter. The return address label reveals the letter is from Jesus Christ - who apparently resides in North Waterboro, Maine.

WGME-TV reported that an 83-year-old ME woman who changed her name to Jesus Christ said she began a letter writing campaign 50 years ago to spread a message of faith and peace.

Apparently she gets ridiculed for her name and told the publication: 'Most of them think I'm plain insane and ignore me'.

In an interview with WGME-TV (below), she said that she began writing letters in order to disseminate a message of "faith, peace, and priorities".

BFF Gayle King posted about Jesus Christ's letter on Instagram, after receiving it at the O, The Oprah Magazine offices, wondering if it qualifies as the sign from God Oprah needs.

The actress was thrown into the spotlight after her 2018 Golden Globes speech that inspired her fans and had some of Hollywood's biggest names in tears.

Christ says if Oprah runs for president, she'll vote for her.

She told People: 'I went into prayer. And I haven't gotten that'.

Christ said she didn't know there was speculation about Winfrey running for president, but said she'd vote for her if she did.
