If mathematics are not your thing, don't worry, plenty of restaurants will offer discounts in honor of the day.

National Pizza Day was on February 9, but pizza will also be celebrated Wednesday, March 14, in honor of National Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical constant pi. Get more info here.

Bojangles': Bojangles' will offer three sweet potato pies for $3.14 all day Wednesday. Locally, the chain has locations in Concord (Concord Avenue), San Jose (one on Coleman Avenue and one at Almaden Plaza), Fremont (Pacific Commons), San Francisco (Stonestown) and just outside the Bay Area in Tracy (Grant Line Road).

- Cici's Pizza: Buy one regular price buffet, get a second for $3.14 on March 14. To redeem the offer, use this coupon on Wednesday.

It's also the date of "Pi", you know, the mathematical constant, 3.14.

While there is no official way to celebrate Pi day, you could always celebrate with actual pie and head to the American Pie Council's website where you'll find celebration ideas, pie recipes, and even a brief history of pie.

Lucky's Market Sarasota: Get a slice of pie and a scoop of ice cream for $2. These promotions (both in the city and suburbs) all occur March 14 unless otherwise noted.

Village Inn: Enjoy $2.00 off any whole pie on 3/13 and 3/14.

Villa Italian Kitchen: The quick-service chain, often located in shopping malls, is offering full-size Neapolitan Cheese Pizzas for $3.14 with coupon you can download by supplying your name and an email address. You can also get a free slice of pie with the purchase of a menu item.

To 31 decimal places, the celebrated irrational number that never ends is 3.1415926535897932384626433832795.

"Over the past 10 years, Pi (e) Day has become an integral part of our brand's culture, and our customers start looking forward to it months in advance", said French.
