The next smartphone from Oppo will be unveiled in the Oppo R series.

Oppo has been teasing the launch of Oppo F7 for the past few weeks and the most prominent change coming to the device is the notch. The system will reportedly utilize a 25 megapixel selfie camera, as well as HDR and AI technologies to tailor its beauty settings for individual faces.

Since the launch of iPhone X, it had become clear that other smartphone makers will soon copy the design.

Oppo proudly launching its upcoming smartphone with the tweet that says, "Make a way for all-new Oppo F7 now with an awesome notch screen".

We're not exactly sure what that means, but we know the OPPO F7 is capable of FHD+ resolution (2280 x 1080 pixels), producing an extra-wide 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen to body ratio will allegedly be an impressive 89.09%, surpassing the best on the market right now. The banner confirms that the Oppo F7 could feature a 25MP AI-powered selfie camera. The teasers indicate support for features like bokeh and portrait mode. According to the invite, the Oppo F7 will get certain artificial intelligence features, and will be announced in the presence of three Indian cricketers - namely, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Ravichandran Ashwin - which was revealed through the brand's Twitter handle.
