Starting March 22 players will begin to find themselves face to face with Deviljho, a fierce beast whose endless stomach has him in search of any monsters or hunters that lie in his path.

As it turns out, this is a very exciting week for fans who have been theorizing about Monster Hunter World crossover gear, items, and quests.

Information regarding Deviljho and the major Spring Update as a whole first surfaced back in January, when Capcom teased the monster's arrival to the new world. This latest free update will introduce Deviljho (The Terror Dragon) encounters and new drops to the game.

Also coming is the Spring Blossom Fest, an event running from April 6-20, which gives the Gathering Hall a flowery makeover, complete with a giant Poogie lantern and nighttime firework shows.

Also shown off was a retro Mega Man outfit and weapon for Palicoes, arriving on April 13.

During the same time period, a new rocket-powered Great Sword weapon, the Wyvern Ignition will also be available, presumably earned through an event quest. This update, shared via Famitsu, revealed that Deviljho will be debuted by Capcom sooner than expected, with it now set to make its appearance next week. As is Monster Hunter tradition, it will also be available to use for crafting.

Are you excited for this new slate of content for Monster Hunter: World? More details on these updates will be available when it is released so hunters can see if their play styles can be adjusted or simply benefited from the changes.
