He scores it "ten Goldlums out of a possible ten Goldblums - that's my highest rating".

Jeff Goldblum is set to reprise his role as our favourite chaotician, Dr. Ian Malcolm, in Frontier Developments' upcoming strategy sim Jurassic World: Evolution.

Jurassic World Evolution has, uh, found a way to rope in Jeff Goldblum. His exact role remains unclear; in the announcement video below, Goldblum says he'll "be with you the whole game", and an accompanying press release suggests he'll serve as some kind of advisor. Frontier Developments, the folks behind the RollerCoaster Tycoon games, are handling this one, and it will let you build your own dinosaur amusement park.

Jurassic World Evolution places players in control of operations on the island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. For the first Jurassic World we saw a few different mobile games, but this time around, we're getting something a little more serious: Jurassic World Evolution, a park builder that's coming later this year to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. He returned for the 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park (also directed by Spielberg), but did not appear in the third or fourth films in the series. You can probably expect it to surface sometime around June 22, which is the day Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters. Check Goldblum in the video below as he announces his return to Jurassic Park.
