The Mi MIX 2S will be successor to the Mi MIX 2 that was launched past year. Today a Xiaomi smartphone codenamed "Dipper" which is alleged to be Mi 7 appears at the benchmarking website GeekBench. This reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi handset codename Berlin will be an affordable Android smartphone.

According to the Geekbench listing, Xiaomi Berlin will surprisingly run Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box instead of Android Oreo.

In addition to the hardware details, the Geekbench listing also shows that the Xiaomi Berlin has received a single-core score of 1155 and a multi-core score of 2738.

Furthermore, the Mi 7 is also expected to feature in-display fingerprint scanner which means we won't be seeing the traditional scanner on the Mi 7's front below the display or at the back.

According to the alleged Xiaomi Mi 7 firmware files, the device will have a 6.01-inch Full HD+ OLED panel made by Samsung. Interestingly, the latest development comes just ahead of the launch of the Mi MIX 2S that is recently rumoured to include an iPhone X-like vertical dual rear camera setup and come with wireless charging support.

A previous leak claimed Mi 7 to have an 8GB variant too.

That said, while Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Mi MIX 2S on March 27, there's no word from the company yet regarding the launch of Mi 7.
