The Houston Texans, looking to bolster their offensive line, are the favorites to land free-agent offensive lineman Zach Fulton, according to Ian Rapaport of the NFL Network.

The Texans are expected to offer Fulton a multi-year deal worth more than $7 million per year, Rapoport reported Monday.

It's unclear whether the Texans view Fulton, a sixth round pick in 2014, as a starter or a utility player.

Fulton entered the National Football League with the Kansas City Chiefs as one of two very impressive sixth round picks by former general manager John Dorsey. In 63 games including 46 career starts, Fulton has played all three interior offensive line positions.

Fulton, 26, is an ascending talent who has positional versatility at guard and center.

It would have been nice for the Chiefs to re-sign Fulton but it was implausible due to his cost and demand.
