Rumor: New Splinter Cell Coming to E3 2018

According to its description, this new Splinter Cell game will be revealed at E3 2018 and will be coming to the PC (it won't be a PC exclusive, it will also come out to current-gen consoles). If there was no game in development, and Guillemot didn't want to get Splinter Cell fans' hopes up, he could have easily brushed the question off by saying that they didn't have anything to reveal at the moment.

As with all placeholder listings, it's entirely possible that this is a speculative entry by Amazon itself, which may have no knowledge of the game. I know Ironside is back. He was shooting a movie with Amy Jo Johnson, and I know someone who worked on that set and Ironside confirmed to him he was doing the new Splinter Cell.

"I can't say much about that". For sure, all the Clancy games are taken care of. I think yesterday was even one of the highest numbers of players playing...

The series has been stopped since 2013, the year of the release of Splinter Cell Blacklist, a title received warmly by the public and critics, unable to achieve the commercial success of previous episodes.

What are your thoughts on this?

So there's a strong possibility that Splinter Cell might be back at E3, perhaps in a similar shape to Assassin's Creed Origins. Since then, Sam Fisher has retreated into the shadows, not to be seen or heard from.
