Batshuayi has opened the door on a full-time switch to Borussia Dortmund but admitted it is a matter for the two clubs to thrash out.

On Sunday, the on-loan Chelsea striker bagged a brace, including a last minute victor in Dortmund's 3-2 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

He has been linked with leaving Chelsea for good with Antonio Conte's apparently unconvinced by his qualities.

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, who is now on loan at Borussia Dortmund, says he is happy in Germany but insists that any discussions about his future should be left to the two clubs involved.

I would be very happy if Michy stays. "He's shown how important he can be for us".

Batshuayi still has over three years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The attacker recently went through a barren run of five games for Dortmund without a goal, harking back to the struggle for consistency that once blighted his time in London, both in terms of minutes played and goals.

"I'm now playing with a lot of confidence". German forward Marco Reus emphasized that the young Belgian has the potential to lead the line for Dortmund and can help the team in securing a Champions League spot next season. "I hope it turns out well for them".

He has scored 19 goals in 53 appearances for the Blues but it remains to be see if he'll get the chance to add to that tally next season.
