Imagine someone in your family was brutally murdered and then for the next half-century you were constantly reminded of her disgusting death, with filmmakers lining up to dramatize it in theaters.

Well, we've been hearing this rumor for months, but now it's been made official: according to Deadline, Margot Robbie (fresh off her Oscar-nominated turn in I, Tonya) has now entered negotiations to play Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. She'll also be reuniting with her Wolf of Wall Street movie-husband Leonardo DiCaprio. Both men are struggling to make it in "a Hollywood they don't recognize anymore".

"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" will mark the first collaboration between Tarantino and Robbie. Polanski was married to Tate when she got murdered, so it only makes sense the director will be featured in some capacity in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood".

"The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt)". After all, with Pitt, Robbie and DiCaprio all locked in now, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is sure to be something special and is no doubt a film you'd best keep your eye on. In the film Tate is Rick's very famous next door neighbor.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is slated to premiere on August 9, 2019, one day after the 50th anniversary of the tragic event which happened on the night of August 8, 1969.
