A 72-year-old Ontario psychiatrist has been barred from practice after the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario discovered that he sexually abused two of his patients during therapy.

That said, we don't want anyone to feel like they can't get help if they need it; so, we hope Dr. Iscove finds the BEST gay conversion therapy for his insatiable perversions.

Dr. Iscove was found to have engaged in these acts in the 1990s and early 2000s and his license was suspended pending a penalty hearing where it will likely be taken away indefinitely. Iscove, who denies the allegations, admits that he supports the theories of Edmund Bergler, a psychoanalyst who argued that homosexuality is a mental illness. He tries to make his doing right by telling that the patients come to him was suffering from a number of problems and he tried to tell them that being a gay is an actual problem for them.

He stated that his 'patients patients only became responsive to his therapy when they were ready to fight it (i.e., the homosexuality),' according to the panel's report.

The complaints brought against Iscove come from former patients over the last several decades. The man, who considered Iscove a father figure, testified that Iscove would directly ask him about fantasies involving the two of them.

According to the panel's decision, Iscove testified that his patient population includes "a range of problems such as marital conflict, and 'sexual disorders, ' such as frigidity, over-sexuality and homosexuality". The doctor then said to the patient: "You can touch me if you want to", and he began to pull off his trousers. "Patient A estimated that such activity occurred on between 10 and 20 occasions with oral sex occurring on one-third of the episodes".

The second patient also began seeing Iscove for depression and anxiety.

The first patient began seeing Iscove in his 20s because he was depressed, anxious, and thought he might be gay.

Attention, gays. Dr. Melvyn Iscove has found a cure for homosexuality: having gay sex with Dr. Melvyn Iscove! Patient B testified that he was encouraged to read educational material on homosexuality and discuss dreams and fantasies related to his homosexual feelings.

He told Iscove he wanted to experiment with a homosexual partner and the doctor offered himself as an option.

The patient and Iscove engaged in masturbation and oral sex on several occasions.

The Ontario psychiatrist was accused of engaging in oral and anal sex with his patients.

According to the committee, Iscov also violated rules by attempting to sell a juicer to a patient as well as other personal items.

Of course, Iscove denies everything, but that didn't stop officials from suspended his license until a penalty hearing can be scheduled. Other doctors who have had sex with patients in Ontario have lost their licenses. He denies the charges and is expected to appeal the decision, said lawyer Alfred Kwinter.

The doctor still faces a separate discipline hearing for an allegation of "improper conduct in a public men's washroom", according to his profile on the College of Physicians' online register.
