He is projected to replace Beau Allen, who was part of the backup rotation on the line last season.

After a day of no news, the Philadelphia Eagles are back at it again, getting a deal in place on today to sign free-agent defensive tackle Haloti Ngata after restructuring tackle Lane Johnson's contract to gain enormous salary cap relief for this season, according to ESPN reports. Ngata joins former Seattle Seahawks pass rusher Michael Bennett, who arrived in a trade last week for a swap of draft picks and special teams player Marcus Johnson.

Good luck, National Football League offensive lines. It's not uncommon for Super Bowl champions to get completely dismantled following the title as other teams raid their players and coaches. Ngata played 32 games for Detroit, making 53 tackles with six sacks. Because of that, an already tremendous defensive line has gotten better with two terrific moves pulled off by the reigning executive of the year. "I don't want to have problems when I'm older". Ngata has played in 167 games, making 499 tackles with 31.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries and 5 interceptions.

After spending most of his career as one of the league's best interior defensive linemen in a 3-4 defense with the Baltimore Ravens, he transitioned to a 4-3 with the Lions previous year.

The Philadelphia Eagles just won the Super Bowl. He also has 27 career pass breakups.
