Devil May Cry is the Latest Series Crossover for Monster Hunter

Capcom has announced Devil May Cry crossover content for Monster Hunter: World with the above trailer.

It also looks as though there's an Ebony and Ivory damaging taunt, not unlike the Street Fighter crossover's Hadouken - it's not clear if that will be a microtransaction in the same way.

You'll be able to unlock Dante's coat and two of his swords, Force Edge and Alastor, for use in the monstrously popular beast-slaying RPG.

You'll get to fight hellish foes in Monster Hunter: World to earn this devious combination of the Force Edge and Alastor. The sword falls under the Charge Blade category in Monster Hunter World, though it functions a bit differently from others of its kind. I, for one, can not wait to wield one of these and slash a Deviljho in the face... to see if it cries.

Capcom said to "stay tuned" for more information regarding the content and when it will be made available. Unlike the PS4-exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn gear, the Devil May Cry armor will be available to all Monster Hunter World players on PS4 and Xbox One. Players will be able to equip Devil May Cry hero Dante's weapons, as well as wear the demon hunter's stylish costume.
