Bajrangi Bhaijaan bags over Rs150 crore in China

"Eros International and Salman Khan Film's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has an outstanding second Saturday (10 March) in China, collecting $3.35 million". It closed the second weekend with $25.95 million in collections, retaining the number five position in the Chinese box office, despite new releases over the weekend. Speaking of the astounding success of yet another Bollywood film at the China box office, Mr Adarsh wrote on Twitter, " Bajrangi Bhaijaan shows exceptional trending in China. Despite the release of Black Panther, the social drama has managed to remain unstoppable at the ticket window. The film had a bang on beginning with a total collection of Rs 55.22 crore on its opening weekend.

The Salman Khan-starrer film which was released in 8000 plus screens had collected $2.8 million on its opening day.

"We are extremely encouraged by the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China and very excited about our next to roll Indo-China co-production, once again to be directed by Kabir Khan", he continued.

After, Aamir Khan's "Dangal" and "Secret Superstar", looks like the fans in China have found another favourite in Salman. It stars Salman Khan and Harshaali Malhotra, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor Khan in supporting roles.

The Kabir Khan directorial narrates the story of an Indian Hindu man out on a mission to take a young Pakistani girl, who is dumb and mute, back to her country.
