Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to launch its next generation smartphone Vivo V9 in India. The Vivo V9 smartphone has been teased by name on Vivo's Malaysia Twitter handle, while the company's Indonesia social media handles also feature a few teasers. However, what's more important is that the Vivo V9 will sport iPhone X-like notch. The smartphone is expected to come with a 24MP front camera for selfies and a dual rear camera. Vivo Apex Concept smartphone comes loaded with a 5.99-inch OLED display, though there is no information about the resolution of the screen. The Vivo V9 is likely to be the successor to the Vivo V7 which was launched in India past year in November for Rs 18,990. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 is powering the phone, and you'll also find a USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.

After showcasing the world's first "full-production" handset with in-display fingerprint recognition tech at CES 2018, and moving quickly to commercially release the X20 Plus UD, Vivo rocked the 2018 Mobile World Congress last week by presenting a droolworthy bezel-less APEX concept. "The futuristic design innovations in APEX are only a fraction of our innovation pipeline", Alex Feng, Senior Vice President of Vivo, said in a statement.

The long-term goal is to achieve a design with a staggering 98 percent screen-to-body ratio, although Vivo will settle for "just" 91 percent to begin with.
