TV viewers got a taste of what to expect with the last season of "House of Cards" thanks to a new 30-second teaser aired during the Academy Awards on Sunday.

Robin Wright appears in a teaser for the upcoming season of House of Cards.

This is the first look we have been given at the new season, which will not feature Kevin Spacey after the actor was hit by allegations of sexual harassment. This final season is that opportunity; let's just hope that it lives up to some of the lofty expectations that we have.

I suppose the question one has to ask is this: can House of Cards rise above the toxic atmosphere the prevails due to Spacey's previous involvement?

But others still want Spacey back for season 6. Before the season concluded, Frank and Claire were at odds.

I'm assuming the season will begin with word that Spacey's character is dead - there's nearly no other way to handle his character, unless he's meant to be off-screen the entire season. Additionally, the below are set to return: Michael Kelly as Doug, Jayne Atkinson as Catherine, Boris McGiver as Tom, Derek Cecil as Seth, Patricia Clarkson as Jane, Campbell Scott as Mark and Constance Zimmer as Janine.

We certainly think that it's likely that we're going to have an even better season than ever this year, mostly because Claire is that character who has built momentum and steam throughout the season.
